Growing up in the Midwest, my days were spent outdoors, playing in the grass, smelling the flowers, and watching the turning of the leaves in the fall on the way to soccer practice. I enjoyed drawing and sketching, even though I never had any formal training, as well as any and all DIY projects.
When my friends and I wanted to first make our own jewelry, I remember my mom taking us to the craft store to buy beads and other materials. It became a great creative experience to put together combinations and designs from an overflowing sea of options.
Fast-forward many years later, and my Midwestern life has become a city life. I went to college in New York City and then decided to stay and start the next chapter of my life here. While walking the street fairs in the city one summer afternoon, my creative senses were reawakened and the desire to create my own unique jewelry again was born.
In a city that is drawn against a metallic and sparkling background, I prefer to remind myself of where I come from and choose to stand out with a sea of color. I hope you enjoy my designs and looking through my shop.
Thank you for visiting!
